TIME FOR AN UPDATE!!!!

Okay where to begin.....

1. This past weekend @ DRG was amazing... cold, but still amazing! I am so excited about this summer I can't hardly stand it! & guess who all was there this past weekend... yeah Boaz, Jon David, Mize, Cater, and Breeze. Yeah it was like a RIOT Retreat... no outpost though... sad day... even though mize and i were both wearing our Camo. The Challenge Course kicked my butt, but i loved it... The Tree Climb was amazing! My arms were exausted and felt like Jello but when i got to the hammock and the sun was shinng on the mountains it was all worth it.... i like mountain boarding but I am not that great and I will get better. And we played a little two-hand touch where i scored the only two touchdowns that were made the entire game. YEAH I KNOW I ROCK! lol it was definetly a spiritual retreat too... i can't wait to see how God works in me this summer.

2. Pray for me as I write support letters this week. It is hard to ask people for financial support but i believe God is faithful and will provide for me.

3. I had a great time in Dallas... and i pretty much told everything about it in the other post.

4. Blogger looks like it has been slow lately... so let's get it goin again.

5. I am helping put on a Matt Wertz Concert this friday and I think it is going to be pretty good. I am excited about it b/c I get to meet him. If ya'll remember Jeff Joslin, he is opening for Matt Wertz and that is kind of a big deal. : ) i think that i would make a good PR person or Event Organizer.... just a thought.

6. I miss everyone !!!!! especially Lisa!

Four for Tuesday ..b/c everything really is bigger in TEXAS!

1. I believe the hype. EVERYTHING IS HUGE!
2. I am in South Dallas and in one way it has been alot like the last mission trip I went on. I Have not seen any other white people since we got here. In Fact, I might have seen more white people in Africa, i am just being honest. but i love it... the people i am with (the presbyterians ..sp?) are amazing and the church that we are serving is awesome!
3. I love the black church, its fun! these people know how to worship the Lord!I spent all day yesterday painting and all day today raking leaves... its been alot of fun, Tomorrow I am replacing shigles on a roof, b/c i am the only one in the group that has done it before. haha its supposed to thunderstorm tomorrow too. ill becareful dont worry. : )
4. This is the longest i have gone without being on a computer since school started, i was going through withdrawls. Friday morn-tues night, that was a long time. I am really enjoiying Texas, the weather has been incredible. It was 75 and windy today, it felt sooo good. I will fill yall in on the rest of the trip later. I am having a great time!!!!!
