Four for Tuesday ..b/c everything really is bigger in TEXAS!

  1. I believe the hype. EVERYTHING IS HUGE!
  2. I am in South Dallas and in one way it has been alot like the last mission trip I went on. I Have not seen any other white people since we got here. In Fact, I might have seen more white people in Africa, i am just being honest. but i love it... the people i am with (the presbyterians ..sp?) are amazing and the church that we are serving is awesome!
  3. I love the black church, its fun! these people know how to worship the Lord!I spent all day yesterday painting and all day today raking leaves... its been alot of fun, Tomorrow I am replacing shigles on a roof, b/c i am the only one in the group that has done it before. haha its supposed to thunderstorm tomorrow too. ill becareful dont worry. : )
  4. This is the longest i have gone without being on a computer since school started, i was going through withdrawls. Friday morn-tues night, that was a long time. I am really enjoiying Texas, the weather has been incredible. It was 75 and windy today, it felt sooo good. I will fill yall in on the rest of the trip later. I am having a great time!!!!!

Valerie and I caught Murph's head.

Call me (get my mobile from Tim) if you want to go to the park. I might have some time Friday or Saturday. Or, I can tell you where it is.

But, I'm not sure you really want to go. I'm not sure it would be good emotionally, especially while dealing with a mission project. I don't recommend it. The guys seem to automatically ask exactly how he did it and look for details to keep our imaginations in check. The gals have asked different questions and most have not wanted so clear a picture for fear it feeds their imaginations. I'm not stereotyping; that's just been my experience.
